Please join us on Friday, March 10 at 7pm to celebrate the legacy of the Club's original benefactor, Henry Chapman.

At this year's event, we are pleased to have Mac McParland, member of the Glen Ridge Home Brewers Association, who will talk about how beer has been involved in all of the history of New Jersey.  We'll take a closer look at some of the families that ran major breweries in Newark and their impressive Victorian homes.  The devastating effects of Prohibition on the industry will be described, and we'll talk about the present and future state of brewing in this area.  Along with all of this educational and historical content, samples of beer from several local breweries will be served along with chili, cornbread, hot dogs & hot pretzels.

This event is free for Associate Members.  The cost for Non-Associate Members & Guests is $20.00.  Members: if your spouse is not an Associate member as yet, you can sign him up for an Associate membership of $25 so he can participate in this event and our other Club events for the remainder of the Club year.
