A delicious Valentine-themed dinner will be served, followed by an interactive program to update us on the efforts of two community service groups we support in the greater Glen Ridge area.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Essex County

Presenters will be Marla Higgenbotham, Executive Director and Alexis Pugliesie, Outreach Manager.

CASA promotes the welfare of children removed from homes due to  abuse or neglect.

The Mental Health Association of New Jersey

Presenting for them will be Lynette Sheard, Director of NJ Mental Health Players and her troupe, the nationally awarded NJ Mental Health Association Players. They will provide a theatrical approach to understand recognizing and seeking treatment services. They were here briefly last year but we had such good feedback we decided to invite them back for a more expanded theater program.
