  • Founded in 1905, we are a center for thought and action for women of the community, in which ideals of education, culture, civics and social services are encouraged and developed. The Club hosts social gatherings, special programs and cultural events throughout the year.

  • Anyone!  You DON’T need to be a resident of Glen Ridge to join. Many of our members are from surrounding towns. We are an intergenerational group who comes from all backgrounds, stay at home mothers, working professionals, artists and lawyers , all are welcome.

  • Absolutely! We hold two member mixers which include prospective members as guests. Most of our events are open to the public with Non-Member rates.  

  • The Women’s Club is one of the rare third places in the US for people to gather. One of the few built exclusively for women! Running a 100 year old Clubhouse takes TLC, your dues go towards operating funds to support the house. You’re also the first to know the fun activities we host. Members receive a discounted rate to events, rentals and classes.

  • Yes, rentals are a big part of our operations. We host showers, weddings and all types of gatherings.  We also offer our space for film and commercial shoots!

  • We print a quarterly SignPost newsletter that is mailed to all members.  We are growing our social media through Facebook and Instagram. Please follow us @WomensClubofGlenRidge.

  • The committees make our Club run.  We are made up of volunteers to lead and support all events and Club operations. Whether you’re honing a new skill or looking for camaraderie over shared experiences, we will meet you where you’re at with your time.
